When is a supplier required to send in a change of information?

Answer:
Supplier standard 2 requires suppliers to notify the NPWest of any change to the information provided on the CMS 855S or in PECOS within 30 days of the change.

Therefore, it is important for suppliers to notify the NPWest when there has been any change to any of the information reported on the CMS 855S or in PECOS. Failure to timely notify of a change could result in the revocation of billing privileges and could produce possible overpayments. If a supplier is unsure as to whether a change should be reported, the supplier should contact the NPWest.

For information on how to submit a change, please review the Change of Information Guide.
